Tony Parker and Erin Barry, Brent Barry’s wife, continue to heat up headlines with cheating rumors that surfaced after Eva Longoria filed for divorce, but turns out Parker and Longoria’s friends weren’t surprised.

Besides Parker and Longoria’s marriage crumbling, Parker’s mistress and her husband – Erin Barry and Brent Barry- also suffered from the affair.

Friends of Eva Longoria and Tony Parker, who were at their wedding three years ago, talk about Tony and Eva’s marriage being doomed long before Tony Parker and Erin Barry exchanged those flirty text messages.

One friend tells Popeater.com: “Neither one of them wanted to get married for the right reasons in the first place.”

The friend also reveals that Eva Longoria’s success on Desperate Housewives went to her head, which may account for the fancy French castle wedding: “After seeing all the attention Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ wedding had received she wanted the same. And Tony just happened to be the right man in the right place at the right time.”

Another wedding guest noted that Tony Parker was “listening to music on his iPod when not being pushed into pictures” at the event, with Parker seeming to be “confused by the circus Eva had assembled.”

Tony Parker Cheating Led to Eva Longoria Divorce?

NEW YORK (CBS) Did Tony Parker cheat on Eva Longoria with a teammate's wife?

The "Desperate Housewives" actress found hundreds of text messages to Parker's phone from the wife of one of his fellow San Antonio Spurs, she told Mario Lopez of "Extra."

The woman's identity wasn't revealed, nor was the name of the teammate.

Longoria also told Lopez that that her now-estranged husband cheated on her earlier in their three-year marriage with a different woman, whom he kept in touch with on Facebook.

"She is devastated, she wants us all to know that," Lopez said. "But she's strong."

Us Weekly reported that Longoria is "heartbroken" by the revelations, and that Parker, 28, confessed to the inappropriateness - which took place for nearly a year - after she confronted him.

Another friend added, "Once the trust was lost, the marriage was over."

Longoria, 35, is "inconsolable" over the revelations, according to the report.

"Eva truly thought she was going to grow old with Tony and have children with him," adds the pal. "She's inconsolable."

Longoria filed for divorce on Wednesday in Los Angeles, amid reports he had cheated on her.

The couple got engaged in 2006 and married on July 7, 2007. They have no children together.
