The Miami festival is an annual outdoor electronic music event occurring at the end of March.
Last year it sold out for the first time. More than 70,000 people attended and it was one of the highest grossing musical festivals in the United States.
On top of its extended dates this year, the festival won't be sharing dates with the Winter Music Conference.
In past years the two events have run simultaneously during the same week.
However, for 2011, they'll each get their own spot on the calendar.
The Winter Music Conference will take place between March 8-12. Following hot on its heels, the Ultra Music Festival is set for March 25-27.
The lineup for both events hasn't been confirmed yet. At this stage though, Crystal Castles have said they'll appear at Ultra.
If fans can't wait until March next year to get their fill of electronica, Ultra Music Festival presents a radio show each week on Sirius satellite radio.

Both the Winter Music Conference and its related weekend gathering, the Ultra Music Festival have announced their 2011 information, but not like year’s before, the two events will not occur during the same week.
Coming as a surprise, the SXSW themed WMC will kick off two weeks earlier than it typically has and this year’s production will span from March 8 thru the 12th.
Ultra Music Festival 2011 however will remain on its normal end of March schedule. though it will be spread out over three days. With this year’s dates scheduled for March 25-27.
So far, music lineups for both productions are still in progress, but so far Crystal Castles have independently confirmed their slot at the Ultra Music Festival 2011.
